Chant, Sing, Be Loud, Be Proud, Be You!

Chanting in yoga makes some of us uncomfortable. Others it makes them relax. It brings us down into our lower Charkras or wheel of energies and grounds us (brings us out of our heads and into our feet and bodies). Lately I’ve been chanting Om shreem maha Lakshmiyei namha. (My apologies if my spelling is off.) 

You can begin simple too. Before you begin your Yoga, Meditation, start your day open and clear the channels of the throat Chakra with three AUMs or OMs. Sound and vibration is healing that is why churches sing and the happiest churches sing the loudest. Sing loud, proud, and have fun. It is okay if you laugh at yourself too.
